These have been the foreign actors of the Murray Grey settlement in Paraguay.
By embryo transfer, Quebracho S.E.C.A. has been able to count on its own production of a limited number of purebred Murray Grey sires, to increase the quality of the Ranch's bull battery, and a bunch of nice cows to perpetrate the breed.
On another side, thousands of Murray Grey crossbred calves by A.I. have transformed the commercial herd, spreading the outstanding benefits of this Bos Taurus breed such as calving ease, ease of management, yield carcass, fertility, dark pigmentation as in Bos Indicus breeds.             Murray Grey Breed History

Quebracho S.E.C.A. Ranch has been fully implicated in the Murray Grey Breed promotion and development, the breed is not very well known in the region, except by few Brazilian breeders. We have introduced the Murray Greys at Quebracho in 1998 and after years of A.I. and embryo transfer programs the herd is today strongly marked by the breed.
